Keynote Speakers

Jennifer Schuett is a survivor and dedicated victim advocate who has shared her story since a life-threatening attack in 1990, when she was eight years old. She speaks to encourage other survivors to find their voice and pursue justice. Jennifer’s journey has been featured on The Today Show, America’s Most Wanted, CNN, and Investigation Discovery, and she has presented at conferences across the United States and Canada. She is also a co-recipient of TAASA’s 2010 “Champions for Social Change” Award and has been recognized with multiple honors for her advocacy and impact.

Chief Tim Cromie is a 40-year law enforcement veteran who has served as Chief of Police for the Nassau Bay Police Department since 2018. His career includes leadership and investigative roles with multiple Texas agencies, with extensive experience in sexual assault and child abuse investigations. Chief Cromie holds advanced law enforcement certifications, serves as an advisor to the Texas Governor’s Sexual Assault Survivor’s Task Force, and has delivered specialized training across the U.S. and Canada for organizations including the FBI, DOJ, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
